Yoga has changed your life. You finished your teacher training full of excitement, but now that it’s time to share and teach yoga, you feel unsure where to begin. Maybe you compare yourself to others on Instagram or feel disconnected teaching abroad in a new place.

You’re passionate about yoga, but you’re stuck between wanting to teach and not knowing how to build something steady and real.

You’re not looking for another training. You want to teach confidently, communicate clearly, in another language or when your students’ first language isn’t your first language, and create classes that feel aligned with who you are.

You also want to set up your business in an authentic way - from finding spaces and pricing classes, to showing up online without losing yourself or sense of purpose.

Picture a teaching rhythm that feels steady and joyful - where you plan classes with ease, connect genuinely with students and finish your day feeling fulfilled instead of drained. You have structure, clarity and balance in your classes, mindset and business.

That’s what becomes possible when you have the right guidance and that is the purpose of The Grounded Teacher Mentorship.

I'm ready!

Imagine…

Waking up excited to teach - knowing exactly what you’re offering and who you’re helping.

You roll out your mat feeling calm and prepared, not overthinking every cue or second-guessing yourself. You have regular classes on your schedule, and new students are finding you through word of mouth and your presence online.

You walk into class grounded and confident, even if you’re teaching in a new space or an international group with different languages.

Your weeks feel balanced with time for your own practice, business and class admin, and rest.

You know how to price your classes, promote them with calm confidence, and manage your time without burnout.

You finish each week with that powerful feeling of ‘I’m doing it’. You’re teaching, connecting and growing - as both a teacher and a person.

This isn’t just a nice idea. With mindset support, guidance and structure, this could be you, too. Are you ready for this to be you, too?

When you learn the right tools and structure for your yoga teaching business, you set yourself up for confidence, clarity and a sustainable yoga career.

And right now, you might feel like you’ve tried to figure it all out on your own - maybe you’ve taken multiple training courses, followed many teachers online, or spent hours trying to promote classes that have never quite taken off.
You want to build your teaching path, but it feels confusing to know what actually works, especially living abroad where the yoga scene, venues, and language might be different from where you trained.

When I first started teaching abroad, I had to rebuild everything - a new community, new systems, new approach. It took time, trial and error and experience to create the structure and mindset that I now share in this mentorship.

What if you could….

  • Trust your voice and communicate clearly with students speaking different languages

  • Stop comparing yourself to others and actually enjoy teaching

  • Feel confident walking into class knowing exactly what you’ll teach

  • Build a regular schedule of classes that fit your energy and lifestyle

  • Feel balanced between teaching, self-practice, and rest

  • Know how to price, promote and organise your classes without overwhelm

  • Finish each week proud of what you’re building

In just 3 months, you could be teaching with confidence

Hi, I’m Atiya

Yoga Teacher & Mentor

I have been teaching yoga since 2011.

I started my professional life as a lawyer in London and, deep down, always knew it wasn’t for me. After a brief stint as a primary school teacher and doing my yoga teacher training, I started to teach yoga full time and later trained as a nutritionist.

Starting out as a yoga teacher in the UK, I was lucky to be supported by generous, experienced yoga teachers who helped me navigate everything that was new - self-employed life, getting classes, students, working in the evenings and running retreats.

During that time, I set up my own home yoga studio, where I taught small, personalised classes and built a loyal local community. I also assisted my yoga teacher with a yoga teacher training course where I supported trainees, marked homework, gave adjustments in classes and demonstrated poses.

Then in 2018 I moved to Spain and had start all over again! The class culture was different, the venues and systems unfamiliar, and I needed to adapt my teaching style and communication - I’ve mostly taught in English while some of my students have English as a second language. During the pandemic I started online yoga classes.

I’ve built a thriving yoga business and community here in Madrid, adapting to expat life and its flow of people coming and going. I’ve received more and more messages from new yoga teachers asking for support on how to start teaching as an expat after a TTC and that’s why I created The Grounded Teacher Mentorship so you too can teach yoga authentically.
