Yoga Classes in English in central Madrid

Join us for yoga classes - feel stronger, calm and centred

Whether you are new to Madrid, seasoned expat, local or passing through, you can expect friendly, inclusive classes and social events in English in Madrid during the whole year. You can get your FREE Madrid Wellness guide here.

Our classes are for all levels so you are very welcome if you are starting yoga for the first time, come to classes occasionally and if you have been practising for longer.

I work primarily with the English-speaking and international community in Madrid, and welcome all language speakers :)

Yoga is an ancient Indian practice that aims to unite the body, mind, soul and consciousness. Yoga consists of eight elements that help us to quiet the mind, look inward and feel at peace.

We have weekly in-person classes in the centre of Madrid plus online classes. Please check the timetable for the relevant location for class. In winter we are indoors and we have spring/summer/autumn yoga classes in Retiro Park. We also have 1-2 retreats a year near Madrid.

Our weekday classes are 60 minutes and our Sunday classes are 75 minutes to give more time for breathing, meditation and relaxation (and a social after!). Classes are themed and I share the class themes on our instagram page, facebook group and in our whatsapp group (I can add you after you have attended). Here is more on what to expect in your first yoga class in Madrid.

If you are looking for support as an expat and new yoga teacher, then please check out my yoga teacher mentorship, The Grounded Teacher.

And if you are looking to relax and release tension, I offer Thai massages for women too in central Madrid.

Our Yoga Styles

  • Classic Hatha & Dynamic Vinyasa

A balanced, grounding practice connecting physical movement with your breath. Classes range from fluid, energising sequences (Vinyasa style) to steady posture holds (hatha style) designed to improve your strength, balance, mobility and overall wellbeing.

  • Yin Yoga

A much slower, restorative practice where floor poses are held for several minutes. The focus is on allowing your body to gradually soften and release tension, acting as a deep, calming meditation through gentle stillness.

  • Integrated Mindfulness & Meditation

We don't treat meditation as a separate sit-down practice. Instead, mindful awareness and simple meditation techniques are beautifully woven into the classes and at the start and end to help you switch off mentally and reduce stress.
